Release information & terms

Updated October 29, 2026.

Pre-release software

LCOA is currently a Windows beta. Features, model quality and performance depend on your hardware and connected services. Keep backups of important files, review generated information, and approve file or calendar changes carefully.

Distribution and security

The standalone installer is currently unsigned. Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning or block it under your security settings. Do not disable Windows security to install LCOA. The download page provides SHA-256 checksums so you can verify the file you received.

License

LCOA app source is provided under the MIT license included with the installer, including its warranty limitations. Bundled libraries, speech components and downloaded models have their own licenses and notices. Review those notices before redistributing them.

Free and Plus

Paid subscriptions are not enabled in the current build. Plan changes are simulations, apply to the local profile and charge no money. Real pricing, billing terms, cancellation and support information must be published before paid checkout is enabled.

Connected accounts

Use accounts and content you are authorized to access. Gmail and Calendar are optional and may be limited while Google approval is pending. LCOA does not promise uninterrupted availability of third-party services. The current development tunnel is temporary and depends on the hosting machines remaining online.
