In one line
LCOA is a private AI assistant for Windows that runs on your own computer.
In a paragraph
LCOA is a desktop AI assistant for Windows. Chat, voice, writing and code run with models on the user’s own PC, so conversations and files stay there, and most of it works with the internet off. The user chooses how much LCOA may touch, from watching only to running programs, and it shows every change before it makes it, with undo for most of them. It can read mail and save drafts if the user connects Google, but it cannot send mail. It is a beta for Windows, built by one person, and it opens for download on November 12, 2026 at 12 PM Eastern.
